ti sharpStick No2 was placed in an exhibition space at Coed Hills Eco Arts Centre where they hold artist residencies, educational programmes and events. The farm is based in 180 acres of Vale landscape www.coedhills.co.uk. Stick No2 was last seen in early September when I received a photo from Ti Sharp who took the stick round the exhibition. Ti then left the stick leaning against the gate on the site.

  1. Toby Arnott in Saer FframFrom Coed Hills Rural Arts Space I took Stick No.2 to my workspace , Saer Ffram The Sawmill Merthyr Mawr , Saer Ffam specialize in contemporary and historic Oak Frame Carpentry . This autumn we completed a very interesting and challenging project, Conduit House (Cowdray Park), a single story octagonal water tower with a span of 9 meters, situated a couple of hundred meters up a gentle slope from the original House at Cowdray Park.In 1712 a fire gutted the entire house, the heat from the fire was so intense the bricks around the window openings in the remaining four storey walls are discoloured as if by a Kiln. Conduit House was protected from the fire by the short distance that separated it from the main House , So the only surviving example of original16C carpentry at Cowdray Park is the roof of Conduit House. After a detailed survey the roof was dismantled transported to our yard, repaired reassembled, redisassembled, transported back to sit and reassembled again!
